Peninsula Italian-American Lodge #2145
Newport News, Virginia
LIBERTY EQUALITY FRATERNITY
We are one of the 700 chapters in the United States and Canada of the Order Sons of Italy In America (OSIA) and member of the Grand Lodge of VA.
OSIA was founded in 1905 as a mutual aid society for the early Italian immigrants. The 100th anniversary was celebrated in 2005.
Today OSIA has more than 600,000 members and supporters making it the leading service and advocacy organization for the nation's estimated 26 million people of Italian descent.
We fight the stereotypes associated with being Italian, observe Columbus Day as a National Holdiay and promote Italian Americans and their contributions.
